SEATTLE -- With winter quarter now behind them and the spring officially sprung, the Husky beach volleyball team will double its total matches played this week over a four day span in Arizona. The Huskies just finished their finals, but have more tests ahead on the sand, as UW plays five Top-20 opponents in its six matches this week, including three at the Pac-12 South Invitational, which will be televised live.

Washington (3-3) first goes to Tempe on Thursday for a double-header against two top-10 teams. The Dawgs take on No. 8 Stanford at 11 a.m. and follows that with a match against No. 7 Grand Canyon at 3 p.m.

After a day off Friday, the Huskies cross the desert to Tucson where the Pac-12 South Invitational takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Those matches will all be televised live on Pac-12 Networks Mountain, and will be streamed via Pac-12.com or the Pac-12 app.

Saturday in Tucson, the Huskies first take on the host Wildcats, ranked 17th, at 11:30 a.m. They then play Oregon at 5:45 p.m. Sunday will find the Huskies starting at 8 a.m. against 11th-ranked Cal followed by a match with third-ranked USC at 11:45 a.m.
