CAL VISITS COLORADO SUNDAY
— Cal wraps up a two-game road trip Sunday at Colorado after playing six of its previous seven games at home and all seven of those contests in the Bay Area
— Colorado is the 11th and final first-time opponent Cal will face in the 2022 regular season with the Golden Bears last six regular-sason games against teams they have played earlier in the campaign      
— Colorado holds an 8-2 advantage in the all-time series that began in 2014 and has won each of the last eight meetings between the teams after Cal had won the first two including the first-ever game between the squads in Boulder on April 20, 2014
— Cal has dropped each of the last four games played in Boulder since the Golden Bears road win at Colorado in 2014            
— Sunday's forecast in Boulder calls for a gametime temperature of 58 degrees with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the west at three miles per hour
  
LAST TIME OUT: CAL FALLS 12-9 AT OREGON
— Cal got four goals from both Maya Lawliss and Liz Scott at Oregon, while Kennedy Goss picked up nine draw controls and Nikki Zaccaro had two assists at Oregon on Friday,  but it wasn't enough in a 12-9 loss
— Cal led 5-4 with just under six minutes to go in the first half before Oregon scored six of the next seven goals to take a 10-6 lead with just over 10 minutes remaining in the third period 
  
STRONG SCHEDULE
— Five of Cal's first nine games (at Navy, at Virginia, Denver, at Stanford, USC) have been against teams ranked in the IWLCA/Inside Lacrosse Top 25 at some point during the 2022 season with all currently in the poll (No. 9 Denver, No. 16 Virginia, No. 17 Navy, No. 18 USC, No. 24 Stanford), while Virginia (No. 11), Denver (No. 15) and USC (No. 15) were in the poll at the time Cal played them
  
LIZ SCOTT OFFENSIVE OUTBURST
— Liz Scott has scored 11 goals in her last two games and is now ranked third in the Pac-12 with 25 goals on the season
— Scott registered career highs of seven goals and nine points in a 21-18 home loss to Arizona State last Sunday and then added four more goals at Oregon on Friday
  
ZACCARO CLOSING IN ON ALL-TIME CAL ASSIST AND GAMES PLAYED RECORDS
— Fifth-year senior Nikki Zaccaro is closing in on school career records for assists and games played with her current total of 82 assists ranking her second and only one behind Cal all-time record holder Colleen O'Mara (83, 2001-04), while her 71 games played are four shy of Anna Ellest (75, 2017-21)
— Zaccaro is Cal's active leader in career games played, games started (60), points (141), goals (59), assists, shots (188) and shots on goal (121)
