Men’s Tennis Signs Standout Ray Lo

Apr 13, 2022

EUGENE, Ore. – Head coach Nils Schyllander has announced the signing of Ray Lo to the Oregon men's tennis team. Lo joins the program after two seasons at Wichita State University.

From Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Lo won six of his last eight singles matches this spring for the Shockers.

"We are pumped with addition to next years' Duck team," said Schyllander. "Ray is a brilliant student who has seen plenty of success both in the classroom and on the courts. He is a tenacious competitor and will have an immediate impact on the Ducks.

His experience of having competed at a very high collegiate level should make for a seamless transition into the Pac-12. Ray has big goals that match up perfectly with what we are trying to accomplish here in Eugene."

A member of the Dean's list at Wichita State, Lo played throughout the lineup and also helped the Shockers in doubles. He went a month without losing a match last spring and had a five-match winning streak this season.
