USC Men's Basketball Adds Tre White, Oziyah Sellers To 2022 Recruiting Class

LOS ANGELES — USC men's basketball has signed guards Anthony "Tre" White and Oziyah Sellers to National Letters of Intent (NLIs) as part of its No. 6-ranked 2022 recruiting class, it was announced by head coach Andy Enfield today (April 13). White and Sellers join center Vincent Iwuchukwu and forward Kijani Wright who were announced in November. It is the eighth consecutive USC recruiting class ranked inside the top 30 and its fifth class inside the top 20.
TRE WHITE
White (6-6, 190-pounds) is a consensus four-star, senior guard from Prolific Prep in Napa, California, where he led his team to a 26-6 record this season (2021-22), playing a national schedule against some of the country's best teams. White is ranked No. 34 overall on the ESPN.com 2022 basketball recruiting rankings. He averaged 18.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a senior.

He led Prolific Prep to the prestigious GEICO High School Basketball National Tournament this month. White and Prolific Prep upset the No. 1 team in the country 59-56, Sunrise Christian Academy (KS), to advance to the semifinals, before losing a close game to No. 4 Link Academy (MO).

White is from Dallas, Texas,

OZIYAH SELLERS

Sellers (6-5, 185-pounds) is a senior guard at Southern California Academy in Castaic, Calif., where he helped lead his team to a 24-4 overall record while playing a national schedule. He averaged 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists for SCA this season, while shooting 45.0 percent from behind the three-point line. He is ranked as the No. 10 player from California according to ESPN.

In the championship game of their bracket in the John Wall Holiday Invitational in December 2021, Sellers led Southern California Academy by scoring 20 points, including six made three-pointers.

Sellers is from Hayward, Calif.

White and Sellers team with Iwuchukwu and Wright, who signed their NLIs on Nov. 10, 2021, to help make USC's current four-man class achieve a national No. 6 ranking by 247Sports.com, tops among Pac-12 schools. Iwuchukwu is a 7-0, 225-pound center from Montverde Academy in Florida. He currently is ranked No. 26 on the 247Sports.com 2022 recruiting list and No. 27 on ESPN.com's list. Wright, a 2022 McDonald's All-American, is a 6-9, 235-pound forward from powerhouse Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Calif. He ranks 34th on the 247Sports.com recruiting list and No. 38 on ESPN.com.
