LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's rowing program will face Loyola Marymount in Marina del Rey, Calif., this Saturday morning in the Bruins' final home races of the spring season.

Races are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. with the second varsity four and third varsity four crews.

UCLA and LMU will race their varsity four crews at 9:45 a.m., followed by the second varsity eight race at approximately 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning's races will conclude with the varsity eight crews taking to the water at 10:15 a.m.

"We've been on the road for over a month, so we're excited to return home to race in front of the Bruin faithful, including our friends and family," said interim head coach Previn Chandraratna. "In terms of the race itself, every competition provides an opporunity to hone our approach, our technique and our race strategy. We hope to execute well on Saturday."

The Bruins' dual-meet regatta this Saturday will mark the program's fourth event of the spring season. UCLA opened the season against USC in Marina del Rey on Sunday, March 13. Subsequent competitions have included races at the two-day San Diego Crew Classic at Mission Bay (March 26-27) and last weekend's Pac-12 Invitational on Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev.
