Beavers Ready For Pac-12 Championship In Sammamish

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team takes part in the three-day Pac-12 Championship Monday, which is being held this year by Washington.
 
The Beavers finished in sixth place in 2021 en route to an eventual berth in the NCAA National Championship. Jackson Lake shot at par in the four-round event last season, which was held at the Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa, Calif., last year. He finished in a tie for 32nd at the event, the highest of the returning Beavers. Carson Barry (tied for 40th) at 3-over 291 and Mateo Fuenmayor, who shot an 11-over 299 (tied for 56th) are also repeat entrants for OSU.
 
Lake most recently shot a 3-under 210 at the Thunderbird Collegiate in Phoenix. He is at 72.10 per round this season, which leads the Beavers. He's narrowly followed by Barry, who is at 72.14 and Fuenmayor, at 72.59.
 
FIELD (12): Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
 
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-71, 6,979-yard Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish.
 
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Mateo Fuenmayor, Jackson Lake, Carson Barry, Brandon Eyre, Sean Kato and Alfred Raja.
 
FORMAT: Three-day, 72-hole tournament with 36 holes on Monday, 18 on Tuesday and 18 on Wednesday. The top-five individuals from each six-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
 
TEE TIMES: Oregon State opens play at 8:12 a.m. on Monday. Round two is expected to begin at 1:42 p.m.
