USC Lacrosse's Kaleigh Brennan, Isabelle Vitale Take Home Pac-12 Weekly Awards

SAN FRANCISCO – USC lacrosse senior defender Kaleigh Brennan (Summit, N.J.) was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week and redshirt freshman attacker Isabelle Vitale (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) was chosen for the Offensive Player of the Week award for the week of April 18-24, the league announced on Monday, April 25.
 
Brennan picked up four ground balls and caused a turnover in USC's win at No. 23 Arizona State. She recorded her 10th game with multiple ground balls this season; her fifth with three or more ground balls. Brennan into a tie for 17th at USC for single-season ground balls with 34 as she helped command a USC defense that held down three of the Pac-12's top-10 leading scorers in the win.
 
Vitale racked up seven points in the win over the Sun Devils. She dished out a career-high five assists to tie the second-highest single-game total in school history. Vitale became only the fourth Trojan ever to collect 30 assists in a single season and is now tied for third all-time. Her 60 points this spring now rank ninth in the USC single-season records. It was Vitale's ninth game with multiple assists and her fourth with three or more assists
 
The Pac-12 is in its fifth season of women's lacrosse. Since 2018, Women of Troy have earned conference weekly honors 24 times (16 defensive and eight offensive) and have swept the weekly awards six times.
