SAN FRANCISCO - OREGON and STANFORD, the nation's top 2 ranked teams, both received No. 1 seeds to lead nine Pac-12 programs selected to 2022 NCAA Regionals competition on Wednesday.

The No. 2 nationally ranked Ducks claimed their first-ever Pac-12 Championship on April 20 and will be the top seed in the Albuquerque Regional, while the No. 1 ranked and top overall seed Cardinal will again play regional host at Stanford Golf Course, where it posted a 30-shot victory in 2021.

Of the nine Pac-12 programs selected to the 72-team field, five are either No. 1 or No. 2 seeds at their respective regional sites. This year's regionals will be staged at six sites for the first time (up from four), with the top-4 teams advancing to the 2022 NCAA Women's Golf Championships hosted by Arizona State at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 20-25.

The 24 teams advancing to the NCAA Championships will compete in 72 holes of stroke play, crowning an individual national champion at that junction, with the top eight teams advancing to a match-play tournament.

In the six stagings since adjusting format in 2015, the Pac-12 has had 22 team match-play participants - nearly triple the next closest league (ACC 8) - and four different NCAA team national champions (Stanford 2015, Washington 2016, Arizona State 2017, Arizona 2018).
