SAN FRANCISCO – Pablo Ereño Perez was selected the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, the conference office announced Wednesday morning. Graduate Devon Bling was also named Pac-12 Honorable Mention.

Ereño Perez competed in nine of UCLA's 11 tournaments in the 2021-22 season, ranking second on the squad with a 72.6 scoring average and 11 rounds under par (min.18 rounds). Ereño Perez led all Bruins with eight sub-70 scores, including two in the opening rounds of the Pac-12 Championships on April 25-27 on the way to securing a team-best T-18th finish.

Three of Ereño Perez's four top-20 finishes came in UCLA's final four competitions of the year. His best performance of the season came at the El Macero Classic on April 20-22 in which he tied for seventh for his first top-10 finish of his career at 4-under 212.

Ereño Perez completed three tournaments under par: Amer Ari Invitational (-8, 208), The Goodwin (-5, 205) and the El Macero Classic. Only graduate Eddy Lai had more under par tournament finishes with four.
