May 4, 2022
Nikki Zaccaro has been named the 2022 Pac-12 Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Year.

SAN FRANCISCO – Nikki Zaccaro has been selected as the 2022 Pac-12 Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Year the conference announced Wednesday. Zaccaro is Cal's first winner and the fourth overall of the award that began in 2018 and skipped one season in 2020 due to COVID-19. The Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year award is presented in each of the 24 sports the conference sponsors and was established to honor collegiate student-athletes who are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.

"It's a big honor," Zaccaro said. "I've always really cared about performing on and off the field. One never took precedence over the other, so I'm proud that it can now be recognized."
