Plain Named to CoSIDA Academic All-Region Team

SEATTLE – Fifth year senior Gabbie Plain was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
 
The All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on and off the field.
 
Plain is double majoring in psychology and anthropology with double minors in diversity and education, learning & society. The senior was named All-Pac-12 First Team for the fourth time in her career earlier this week.
 
Having been named to the All-District Team, Plain is now eligible to be named an Academic All-American. CoSIDA will announce the All-American Team in June. This is Plain's second career CoSIDA All-District honor.
 
Washington finishes the regular season vs. No. 4 Arizona State this weekend. The NCAA Selection Show is set for Sunday, May 15 at 4 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
