USC Lacrosse's Kelsey Huff, Olivia Dooley, and Kaleigh Brennan Earn IWLCA All-Region Honors

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – USC lacrosse graduate midfielder Kelsey Huff (Eastport, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor HS), junior defender Olivia Dooley (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset HS), and senior defender Kaleigh Brennan (Summit, N.J./Summit HS) were named to the IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Teams on Thursday, May 12.
 
Huff—the Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year—and Dooley—the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year—were each named to the regional first team. Brennan was chosen for second-team laurels. All three Trojans were selected to the All-Pac-12 first team last week.
 
Huff makes her third-career appearance on the IWLCA All-Region team while Dooley and Brennan are first-time choices. All three players are now eligible for consideration to be selected for All-America honors. USC players have now received 30 all-region certificates with 16 first-team selections and 14 second-teamers.
 
The Women of Troy (13-4) are in Chapel Hill, N.C., to take on Virginia (9-9) in the first round of the NCAA tournament at 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. PT) on Friday, May 13, at Dorrance Field. The winner of the first-round game will advance to meet top-seeded and No. 1-ranked North Carolina (18-0) in the second round on Sunday, May 15, at noon ET (9 a.m. PT). Both games will be shown live on ESPN+. USC received one of 14 at-large berths and makes its fifth appearance in the national tourney.
