Multi-year partnership establishes Sprouts as an official partner of Pac-12 championship events and presenting partner of the Pac-12 Women’s Gymnastics Championships
SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced today that Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFM) has been named as the Official Grocer of the Pac-12 Conference. The multi-year partnership also establishes Sprouts as the first-ever presenting partner of the Pac-12 Women’s Gymnastics Championships, as well as an official sponsor of the football championship game, the men’s & women’s basketball tournaments and Olympic sports championships.
"We're thrilled to announce Sprouts Farmers Market as the Official Grocer of the Pac-12 Conference," said Pac-12 Networks Executive Vice President of Sales, Steve Tseng. "We sincerely value Sprouts' appreciation for the deep history and success of Pac-12 women's sports and look forward to showcasing the company as an official partner across our championship events."
With the new partnership, Sprouts joins the Pac-12 family with a heavy emphasis and interest in promoting the rich history, current strength and future success of Pac-12 women’s sports and female student-athletes. This emphasis comes on the heels of the historic 200th NCAA team championship won by Pac-12 universities this season, as Stanford won the 2022 NCAA women’s golf title, and during the conference’s on-going celebration of the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX (June 23, 2022) with the Pac-12’s “powHER of the Pac” campaign.
