Runnin' Utes and Bengals Meet on Nov. 14

Jul 8, 2022

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team will face Idaho State on Monday, Nov. 14, as part of its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

The game will serve as the 32nd meeting between the two programs and 20th time in SLC as the Runnin' Utes look to add onto their six-game winning-streak against ISU. The Runnin' Utes are 27-4 all-time against the Bengals and a perfect 19-0 at home – including an 11-0 mark inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Utah won the last meeting between the two teams 75-59 on Dec. 8, 2020, during the shortened COVID-19 season.

Idaho State is led by fourth-year head coach Ryan Looney – who led the Bengals to their first Big Sky Tournament victory since 2009 his first season at the helm. ISU will have a good mix of returners (5) and newcomers (10) for next season – many of which are veteran transfers.
