Bears Descend On Irvine For Phillips 66 National Championships

Destin Lasco is one of more than two dozen Golden Bears that will compete at the 2022 Phillips 66 National Championships this week in Irvine, Calif.

 
IRVINE, Calif. – The California men's swimming & diving program will be represented by a slew of Golden Bears at the 2022 Phillips 66 National Championships, which begin Tuesday and extend through Saturday at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatic Center.
 
Cal's 25 swimmers at the five-day, long-course meet feature current United States National Team members Patrick Callan, Trenton Julian, Destin Lasco and Tom Shields. Also included in the Bears' representation are 2022 NCAA Championships scorers Jack Alexy, Sean Grieshop, Gabriel Jett, Jason Louser, Colby Mefford, Dare Rose and Reece Whitley, among others.
 
The competition will feature daily prelims beginning at 9 a.m. PT and finals at 5 p.m. PT. Finals will be broadcast live on Olympic Channel, while prelims can be streamed on http://www.usaswimming.org/watch. Click here for a full broadcast schedule.
