Nineteen Gymnasts Named WCGA All-American Scholars

CORVALLIS, Ore. Nineteen Oregon State gymnasts were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) on Wednesday.
 
The criteria for being named a WCGA All-American Scholar is a 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for 2021-22.
 
Oregon State had a team GPA of 3.6439 this past academic season, the 23rd best in the nation. The 19 Beavers selected equaled Arizona for the most by any program in the Pac-12 Conference.
 
Carley Beeman, Kayla Bird, Madi Dagen, Julia Melchert and Kristina Peterson all had a 4.0 GPA in 2021-22.
