Former #UtahTFXC All-American Grayson Murphy Captures Stellina Challenge Title
SUSA, Italy – Former Utah cross country and track & field All-American Grayson Murphy once again claimed gold, this time in the 34th Challenge Stellina race with a time of 1:32.43 and gave Team USA a sweep on the individual podium.

Murphy's time was best among the 23 competitors on the women's side and was nearly three minutes ahead of Scout Adkin (GBR) – who was the second-place finisher. Team USA finished third overall while Great Britain claimed the Stellina Nations Trophy followed by Italy. Others competing in the 14.3k race across Costa Rossa, a mountain located in the Ligurian Alps, were Slovenia and France.

Murphy was a five-time All-American during her time at the U. She earned two first-team All-America honors in the 3,000 steeplechase, two second-team All-America honors in the indoor 5000m and a 2017 cross country All-America honoree.
