Ducks Head Back to Arizona to Open 2022-23 Schedule

The Ducks open the 2022-23 fall season where the last season ended - in the state of Arizona. Oregon's fall slate begins at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Ariz. The tournament runs Friday through Sunday at Mirabel Golf Club.

KEY STORYLINES
• At the 2021 Maui Jim Invitational, Oregon carded two of the lowest scores in program history. The Ducks had a 266 (14-under) in the second round which was the third-lowest score in program history. They followed that with a final round 267 (13-under) for the fourth-lowest score in at Oregon.
• Oregon returns five of its top six golfers from a team that finished 15th at the 2022 NCAA Championships. That list includes Owen Avrit (71.73), Greyson Leach (72.19), Nate Stember (72.44), Eric Doyle (72.81) and Greg Solhaug (72.86).
• The Ducks added three freshmen and one transfer to the squad for 2022-23. The freshmen are Daniel Bullen (Auchterarder, Scotland), Jay Gould-Healy (Cork, Ireland) and Aiden Kraftt (Albuquerque, N.M. The other newcomer is junior Thomas Jenkins Jr. (Austin, Texas), a transfer from Sonoma State.
• At the 2021 Maui Jim Intercollegiate, Owen Avrit jumped started his season with a 10-under 200 (70-66-64) to tie for 12th at the Ducks placed eighth overall.
• The 2022 Maui Jim Invitational will mark the debut of two Ducks - redshirt freshman Gabriel Hari and freshman Aiden Kraftt.
