Schedule of Events for 2022 First Watch Red-Blue Game

TUCSON, Ariz. – Fans of Arizona men's basketball will get their first look at the 2022-23 team on Friday at the annual First Watch Red-Blue game in the McKale Center. Below is a timeline and details surrounding the game and events for the evening:
 
The event will be televised live on Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Network Arizona and Pac-12 Insider with Daron Sutton and Matt Muehlebach on the call. The Pac-12 Insider option is a live stream that is available for free to anyone in the country, regardless of cable provider, and no login or subscription is required. Timeline of Events
5:30 p.m. – the World Premiere of "LUTE", a documentary on the life and career of an Arizona legend and one of the best coaches in the history of basketball. The screening will take place at Centennial Hall on the University of Arizona campus. Tickets are available to the general public by visiting Ticketmaster. This event is scheduled to end around 7:00 p.m. to allow time for fans to get to the First Watch Red-Blue Game.
 
6:00 p.m. – Doors to McKale Center open to the public. There will also be a DJ playing music on the north side of the McKale Center by the Jim Click Hall of Champions, in addition to face painting, balloon artists and more.
 
6:30 p.m. – Adaptive Athletics will hold their annual intrasquad game for 30 minutes on the floor of the McKale Center.
 
7:30 p.m. – the players and coaches for the 2022-23 men's basketball team will be introduced followed by head coach Tommy Lloyd addressing the crowd.
 
Approx. 7:40 p.m. – First Watch ZonaZoo Shooting Competition. This is where 8 members of the men's basketball team will go into the crowd and select members of the ZonaZoo to join them on the court for a competitive shooting contest.
 
Approx. 7:50 p.m. – Slam Dunk Contest. Four members of the team will square off above the rim to see who can bring the house down. We are anticipating an exciting panel of judges ranging from Grammy Award-Winning musical artist to Arizona alumni currently playing in the NBA.
 
Approx. 8:00 p.m. – Red vs. Blue. The 19 members of the 2022-23 team will be divided up and scrimmage against each other for two 12-minute halves. At halftime, women's basketball head coach Adia Barnes and the Arizona women's basketball team will be introduced.
