Bears To Compete At The Frisco Classic
BERKELEY – The California baseball team will be competing in the seventh annual Frisco College Baseball Classic at Riders Field, home of the Texas Rangers Double-A affiliate March 3-5 as announced by Peak Events LLC in partnership with the Frisco RoughRiders on Wednesday afternoon.
The 2023 tournament will feature the Golden Bears, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Ohio State and will take place at Riders Field for the seventh consecutive year.
The four teams have combined for over 10,500 wins, 113 NCAA tournament appearances, 66 regular season conference titles, and 33 NCAA Men's College World Series appearances. The Mississippi State Bulldogs were crowned the 2021 Men's College World Series National Champions, while the Oklahoma Sooners are coming off a runners-up finish at the 2022 College World Series in Omaha.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Mississippi State and the Golden Bears. Cal is 1-4 against Oklahoma and 7-5 against the Buckeyes. Last season, the Golden Bears went 29-27 and got hot down the stretch to advance to the inaugural Pac-12 Baseball Tournament.

Both Reserved and General Admission day tickets are available for purchase as well as the option of a three day General Admission Weekend pass that allows access to all 6 games of the tournament. Day tickets will include both games played on the same day.
