Championship Match Bound

JUNO BEACH, Fla. – No. 1 Stanford women's golf finished second after the stroke-play portion of The Stephens Cup and advances to square off with No. 2 Wake Forest in Wednesday's championship match at Seminole Golf Club. The Cardinal fired a 6-under 282 on Tuesday to maintain a two-stroke lead over third-place Duke. The Cardinal finished 13-under over 54 holes while Wake Forest took the No. 1 seed at 19-under.

Rachel Heck fired a 5-under 67 on Tuesday to lead the Cardinal. She tallied five birdies and 13 pars for a clean sheet. Rose Zhang and Brooke Seay had matching 1-under 71s, as well. 

Wednesday's championship match will be televised on GOLF Channel.
