Complete 2022-23 Schedule Announced

BOULDER – The 2022-23 Colorado women's basketball schedule was made official by head coach JR Payne alongside the Pac-12 Conference's television announcement on Tuesday.

Colorado has a 30-game slate that features 15 games at the CU Events Center. CU has six non-conference away games that are highlighted by Texas Tech (Nov. 16), Tennessee (Nov. 25) and Marquette (Dec. 21).

The first chance to catch the Buffs in action will be in exhibition play against Adams State on Nov. 1 (6 p.m.). Payne and Co. will open the regular season with a Nov. 7 meeting against New Mexico State (Noon).

"We are extremely excited for the upcoming basketball season and believe that once again, we will play a challenging schedule that will prepare us for the rigors of Pac-12 play," Payne commented. "It's been many years since we have played this many road games in the pre-season but we believe this will allow our team to grow in various ways. Our team has worked hard all summer and fall and has put in the work that will allow us to build on the great season that we had last year. We have high expectations for our ballclub and know that the work we are putting in is preparing us for another great season."

CU will host Jackson State on Nov. 12 (2 p.m.) in the first of three Preseason WNIT games. The Buffaloes will then head to Lubbock, Texas, to finish out the tournament with Louisiana (Nov. 15) and Texas Tech (Nov. 16).

Colorado will open the Pac-12 schedule with three straight road contests at Utah (Dec. 14), at Washington (Dec. 30) and at (Washington State (Jan. 1). Alcon State at home (Dec. 16) and Marquette is sprinkled between Utah and UW.

The first conference home dates don't come around until Jan. 6 when Utah makes its return trip to the CU Events Center. The Buffs will follow with Arizona (Jan. 13) and Arizona State (Jan. 15) at home the following weekend.  

Colorado will close the regular season at home for the second consecutive season, hosting Stanford (Feb. 23) and Cal (Feb. 26).

The Pac-12 Tournament is set for Mar. 1-5 at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

All 18 of the team's Pac-12 games will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
