This Week
  • Arizona State (1-2) continues its five-game road trip as they visit No. 24 Jacksonville on Friday, March 3. The Sun Devils then take on No. 7 Florida on Friday, March 3 in head coach Taryn VanThof’s return to her alma mater. VanThof was an assistant coach for the Gators for six seasons prior to joining Arizona State, and received her masters degree from Florida in 2022.
  • Colorado (0-3) returns to action against No. 21 Michigan on Friday eyeing its first win of 2023. The Buffaloes are partnering with Morgan's Message to spread information about mental health awareness throughout the game.
    • Colorado has one of the toughest nonconference schedules in the country, having played three teams who were in the top 45 of the RPI a season ago in Vanderbilt, Louisville and Denver so far this campaign. Vanderbilt and Louisville both moved into the IWLCA top 25 immediately following their victories over then-No. 25 Colorado, and Denver was ranked No. 10 during its battle with the Buffs.
  • No. t-19 USC (2-1) hosts High Point on Friday and Villanova on Sunday, with the Trojans looking to stay undefeated at home on the year.
  • A two-game road slate is on deck for Oregon (2-1), who battles Navy on Friday and George Mason on Sunday. The Ducks are off to their best start since 2018.
    • Head coach Chelsea Hoffman played at George Mason where she was a two-time All-CAA second team honoree.
  • The No. 17 Cardinal (2-2, 1-0) wraps up Friday’s action against No. 6 Stony Brook in a neutral site battle, which will be Stanford’s third contest against a ranked opponent this season. Last time out the then-No. 22 Cardinal topped then-No. 10 Stony Brook, 15-12, which ended the Seawolves’ 33-game home win streak back in 2019.
Last Week

  • Oregon topped Kennesaw State, 15-8, the second time this season the Ducks have scored 15 or more goals this season. Cassidy Eckert made a season-high seven saves and nine Ducks recorded points in the contest.
  • The Sun Devils fell to No. 25 Penn State, 8-4, marking the second time in program history that Arizona State held a top-25 opponent to single digits on the scoreboard. Freshman Teagan Ng notched her second hat trick in three games in the setback to Towson.
