LOS ANGELES - No. 4 national seed UCLA recorded its highest-ever NCAA postseason score, tying its season high with a 198.275 to easily win the second session of the Los Angeles Regional second round. The Bruins recorded season-best and Top 6 program marks on beam and vault in the victory, which advanced the team to the Regional Final along with second-place Missouri, who scored 197.400. Fellow Pac-12 schools Utah (198.125) and Washington (196.775) advanced out of the first session.

The Bruins had a dream start on balance beam, scoring a season-high 49.675, the fourth-highest beam score in program history and their second-highest postseason beam score of all time. Sophomore Emily Lee led off with a 9.9, and the scores built from there. Freshman Ciena Alipio earned a career-high 9.925, Ana Padurariu recorded a 9.8, and Jordan Chiles scored 9.9. Selena Harris and Emma Malabuyo closed the rotation with back-to-back 9.975s, and the Bruins were staked to a three-tenths lead over second-place Missouri, who scored 49.375 on floor exercise.

UCLA continued its strong effort with a strong floor rotation, scoring 49.500. After Lee's 9.800 leadoff routine, sophomore Brooklyn Moors stepped in as a late sub and scored a career-high-tying 9.925 in her first competitive routine of the season. Harris followed with a 9.900, Margzetta Frazier contributed a 9.825, and Chae Campbell put up a 9.900. Chiles rounded out the rotation with a meet-winning 9.950. UCLA expanded its lead to four-tenths over Missouri, who scored 49.400 on vault.

In the third rotation, UCLA surpassed its season-high score by nearly two-tenths of a point, earning five 9.9+ scores to total 49.575. The mark ranks as UCLA's sixth-best vault score of all-time. Frazier set the tone with the best vault of her career, leading off with a personal-best 9.900. Lee followed with a strong vault that scored 9.850, and her score would eventually be dropped as the remaining four Bruins each put up 9.9 scores. Competing on vault for the first time this year, Moors stuck her vault and scored a career-high 9.900. Campbell followed with a flawless Yurchenko full vault that earned a perfect 9.950, her second of the season. Harris stuck her Yurchenko 1.5 and scored 9.900, and Chiles anchored with a 9.925 on her Yurchenko double full. The Bruins lengthened their lead to nearly eight-tenths over Missouri, who scored 49.150 on uneven bars.

The Bruins ended the night on bars with a score of 49.525. Campbell and Lee started with matching scores of 9.850, and Ana Padurariu added a 9.900, her fifth consecutive score of 9.900 or higher on the event. Harris added a 9.875, Frazier a 9.925, and Chiles closed it out with her 14th 9.975 score of the season. The Bruins finished nearly nine-tenths ahead of Missouri, who edged out Stanford for second place after scoring 49.475 on beam.

Chiles and Harris took first and second place in the all-around, with scores of 39.750 and 39.650 respectively. Chiles also won uneven bars (9.975) and floor exercise (9.95), while Harris and Malabuyo took first on balance beam (9.975).

UCLA will take on Missouri, Utah and Washington in the Regional Final on Saturday, April 1 at 5 pm PT in Pauley Pavilion. The top two finishers will advance to the NCAA Championships.
