NCAA Gymnastics Championship Final to air on ABC, three Pac-12 programs in action in Semifinal

SAN FRANCISCO – Three Pac-12 women’s gymnastics programs are set for action on ESPN networks in the upcoming NCAA Semifinal on Thursday, April 13, as No. 2 Utah, No. 4 UCLA, and No. 7 California look to punch their tickets to the Championship Final on ABC on Saturday, April 15

Thursday’s NCAA Semifinal will air on ESPN2 and ESPN+ with live commentary from Bart Conner, Kathy Johnson Clarke, and former UCLA gymnast Samantha Peszek. Individual apparatus streams for beam, bars, floor, and vault will air on ESPN+ for the semifinal and final, including a quad box of all four live events. 

The Pac-12 is tied with the SEC for the most teams participating in the NCAA Semifinal (three). Pac-12 programs will compete in the following semifinal sessions, with the top two teams in each session advancing to the Championship Final:

  • NCAA Semifinal I – Afternoon Session: 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT
    • No. 2 Utah, No. 4 UCLA, No. 1 Oklahoma, and No. 9 Kentucky
  • NCAA Semifinal II – Evening Session: 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT
    • No. 7 California, No. 2 Florida, No. 6 LSU, No. 14 Denver

Pac-12 programs that advance to the NCAA Championships will compete on Saturday, April 15. “NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship Live Preshow” is set to air on ABC at 12:30 p.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. MT before the championship final commences at 1 p.m PT / 2 p.m. MT on ABC and ESPN+. Conner, Clarke, and Peszek will once again be on the main broadcast call. 

The championship awards ceremony will air following the conclusion of the meet, as the 2023 national champion will be crowned.

Fans who seek additional gymnastics action can tune into a pair of programming marathons on Pac-12 Insider. Thursday’s lineup on Pac-12 Insider features a “Best of Gymnastics” marathon kicking off at 6 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. MT, including broadcasts some of the best meets from UCLA, Utah, and California from years past. On Saturday, fans can tune into a “Perfect 10s” marathon with competitions that features perfect 10 performances from current and former Bruins, Red Rocks, and Golden Bears, all kicking off at 6 a.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT.
