UCLA to Host Celebration of Life for Coach Fuller Kearney

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's rowing program will host a celebration of life for the late Amy Fuller Kearney, who served as the Bruins' head coach for 20 seasons, the morning of Saturday, June 3, in Marina del Rey.
 
Saturday's morning's celebration of Fuller Kearney will include a ceremonial row-by, conducted by her former Olympic teammates. The event is open to the public and will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Marina Aquatic Center (UCLA's boathouse).
 
Saturday's program will begin with words from those who were closest to Fuller Kearney, followed by the ceremonial row-by. Attendees will have an opportunity to share memories of the longtime Bruins' rowing coach and reflect upon the great impact that she had on so many individuals.
 
The UCLA women's rowing program will also stream live video of Saturday's celebration of life through the team's Facebook page (via Facebook Live, at Facebook.com/UCLArowing).

PARKING: Parking is available at Marina Lot 1 at Fisherman's Village (located at 13737 Fiji Way in Marina del Rey, which is approximately a 10-minute walk to the boathouse). Free parking is available at Dock 52, located at 13552 Fiji Way in Marina del Rey (nearly a 15-minute walk to the boathouse).
