WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Stanford men's rowing finished 13th overall at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships with two boats finishing on the podium of their heats.
 
California (288) took the win at the IRA championships, followed by Washington (273) and Yale (253). Cornell (166) finished in 12th ahead of Stanford (133) in the final standings and Navy (131) trailed in 14th.
 
The second varsity eight took the lead early in final 3 and held it for the entirety of the race. The Cardinal took first by a two second margin, finishing 13th overall in the second varsity standings.
 
Stanford's varsity eight boat competed in the petite final, finishing second behind Brown, finishing the season eighth overall.
 
The Cardinal held a 6-1 record in the regular season with the sole loss coming against the IRA champions California. Stanford reached as high as seven in the IRCA Coaches Poll and Caspar Griffin picked up the Pac-12 Co-Newcomer of the Year award.
