STARTING FIVE

>>  No. 2 UCLA and No. 11 Utah travel to Uncasville, Conn. for the Invesco QQQ Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase for a pair of top-25 matchups. The second-ranked Bruins tip off against No. 20 Florida State on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 9 a.m. PT on ESPN2, and No. 11 Utah versus  No. 1 South Carolina follows at 11 a.m. PT on ESPN/U.
   >> The Pac-12’s .500 win percentage (5-5) against AP Top 25 opponents leads all major conferences.

>>  Washington State re-enters the AP Top 25 this week, giving the league six ranked teams: No. 2 UCLA, No. 6 USC, No. 8 Colorado, No. 9 Stanford, No. 11 Utah and No. 21 Washington State.

>>  The first NET Rankings (thru games 12/4/23) were released, with six teams in the top 25 and 10 in the top 75: No. 2 Stanford, No. 4 Utah, No. 8 UCLA, No. 12 USC, No. 19 Colorado, No. 21 Washington State, No. 36 Washington, No. 40 Oregon State, No. 51 California, No. 74 Arizona, No. 102 Arizona State and No. 104 Oregon.
   >> The Pac-12’s three programs in the top 10 NET tops all conferences.

>>  No. 1-seed UCLA leads the way for the Pac-12 in ESPN’s Charlie Creme’s latest Bracketology, which showcases eight teams in the 2024 NCAA Tournament: No. 1 UCLA, No. 2 Stanford, No. 2 USC, No. 3 Colorado, No. 3 Utah, No. 5 Washington State, No. 8 Washington and No. 9 Oregon State. Arizona is one of Creme’s First Four Out.

>>  Oregon State’s Scott Rueck became the program’s all-time winningest coach this past week with his 275th career win with the Beavers. The Pac-12 has three current head coaches ranked in the top 25 of women’s basketball’s career wins among active Division I coaches: Stanford’s Tara VanDerveer (1st - 1,194 career victories), Oregon’s Kelly Graves (19th - 598) & Rueck (24th - 564).
