Campbell, Rosen Selected to Pac-12 Watch Lists

UCLA senior Chae Campbell and freshman Katelyn Rosen were selected to the Pac-12 women's gymnastics 2024 Preseason Watch List and Newcomer Watch List, respectively. The watch lists highlight 16 total gymnasts, as nominated by the conference's eight programs.

The Watch List has 11 returning student-athletes, including six All-Americans and three Pac-12 champions. Five freshmen make up the Newcomer Watch List. 

Campbell, a seven-time All-American, will be a key senior leader on the Bruins' 2024 squad. The 2021 Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year became the first gymnast in Pac-12 history to earn all four weekly awards during her career after being name the Specialist of the Week on Feb. 21 last year. She was a 2021 Pac-12 floor exercise co-champion and has earned seven All Pac-12 honors and two career perfect 10s on the floor.

Rosen is a 2020 U.S. National Team member and five-time U.S. Championships qualifier. She most recently earned a Top 10 all-around finish at the 2023 Winter Cup, and at the 2022 U.S. Classic, she finished first on floor, third in the all-around and seventh on beam. Rosen also won a Level 10 National Championship on floor in 2018.

The Bruins enter the 2024 season ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 2 in the Pac-12 Coaches' poll.
