The fifth-year senior from Eugene, Ore., hit .500 (8-for-16) over six games with three doubles and two home runs. She had a 1.063 slugging percentage for the tournament in Clearwater, Fla. She also stole two bases. Carlson crushed a pair of home runs against Liberty, including a solo shot in the fifth inning that ended the game in walk-off fashion via the run rule, 8-0. The scene was reminiscent of her walk-off grand slam last May in the NCAA Regional Final at Arkansas. She also tied the school's single-game record with three doubles Sunday against Army. The Ducks went 4-0 in games Carlson had at least one RBI. She drove in four runs against Army, three versus Liberty, two against Missouri State and one versus Kansas. She's seen action at nine different positions - catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, left field, center field, right field and designated player and has started at least one game at every one of those positions except shortstop. The only position Wong has yet to play is pitcher. She's currently second on the team in batting average (.390) and slugging percentage (.732).
