USC Lacrosse's Heaney, Vitale and Regan Named to Inside Lacrosse's Midseason All-American List

Mar 28, 2024

BALTIMORE - USC lacrosse senior Ella Heaney (Garden City, N.Y.), redshirt junior Isabelle Vitale (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y.) and freshman Anna Regan (Catonsville, Md.) were named to the ILWomen Midseason All-American Honorable Mentions List, Thursday, Mar. 28.

All three players have been fundamental parts of the Trojans' successful start to the season. Heaney is the top goal scorer at USC, having posted 29 goals while adding 15 assists, giving her 44 points in the season. Alongside Heaney on the offensive side is Vitale. Vitale leads the Pac-12 and the Women of Troy in assists, having 34 this season. That mark represents the top-disher in the Pac-12 and ranks sixth in the NCAA. It isn't a surprise that Vitale is once again a headlining name, as she was named to the USA Magazine Preseason All-American Honorable Mention List. The last player on the list is none other than draw control specialist freshman Anna Regan. Regan is pacing the Women of Troy with 88 draw controls in just 11 games played. Regan is already making waves in program history, as she ranks tenth in program history for draw controls in a career and tied the single-game mark for draw controls in a single game with 17.

The dynamic trio will suit up once again against California starting at noon on Sunday, Mar. 31, in the first game at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
