California volleyball alum Maddie Haynes has officially signed with League One Volleyball (LOVB) Pro, joining fellow graduates Carli Lloyd and Morgan Beck Miller in the new U.S.-based league.
Haynes, a native of Rocklin, played outside hitter for the Golden Bears from 2016-19, earning All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention status in her senior year. She started her professional career in Germany, playing for the Ladies in Black Aachen from 2020-21 before moving to Switzerland and competing with VBC Cheseaux (2021-22) and Viteos NUC (2022-24). She was named "Best Spiker" at the 2022-23 Swiss Cup and won two Swiss Cup and Swiss League titles, later leading Viteos NUC to a runner-up finish at the Confédération Européene de Volleyball (CEV) Cup.
LOVB Pro will announce its full team assignments at a later date and begin its inaugural preseason in November.
