Oregon State Notables
• Oregon State clinched a berth to the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament with Friday night's win.
• OSU will honor eight seniors prior to Saturday night's game. Those seniors include pitchers Noah Ferguson, Jaren Hunter, AJ Lattery, Ian Lawson, Joey Mundt and Kyle Scott as well as outfielders Brady Kasper and Micah McDowell.
• The shutout marked the Beavers' first versus the Bruins since a 2-0 win in 2018.
• The 4,034 in attendance Friday marked a season-high at Goss Stadium and was the sixth-largest all-time. It's the third-largest in a regular season game.
• Travis Bazzana swiped his 63rd career base in the win, surpassing Todd Thomas to become the standard bearer in the Beavers' record books.
• Bazzana also recorded one hit to give him 236 for his career. That ties him with Jacoby Ellsbury and puts Bazzana two behind the program's record holder Darwin Barney.
• The shutout Friday was the 18th during Mitch Canham and Rich Dorman's tenure in Corvallis. Oregon State's six this season lead the conference and tie the Beavers for third nationally.
• Micah McDowell's home run Friday was his first since March 17 against Utah. McDowell's long ball gave the Beavers 100 on the year, which was upped to 101 when Jacob Krieg went deep in the seventh.
• Aiden May, Friday's winner, has now gone 20 1/3 consecutive innings without allowing a run. He's given up five runs in five appearances at Goss this season, with each coming during the Beavers' early April win over Arizona State.
• OSU is 22-2 at home this season.
• Oregon State improved to 45-46 all-time versus the Bruins after Friday's win. The Beavers are 24-20 at home versus UCLA.
