UCLA is fresh off winning the Pac-12 Tournament Championship on Saturday, defeating Arizona State, Arizona and Utah en route to the title. The Bruins also won their 13th Pac-12 regular-season championship with a 17-4 conference record.

The Bruins are led by back-to-back Pac-12 Player of the Year Maya Brady and Pac-12 Tournament MVP Sharlize Palacios – the top two hitters in the conference in terms of slugging percentage.

UCLA is anchored in the circle by its star underclassmen duo of Taylor Tinsley and Kaitlyn Terry. Terry, a native of Glendale, Ariz., was awarded the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, bringing in the honor for the Bruins the second year in a row. Inouye-Perez picked up her fourth and second consecutive Pac-12 Coach of the Year of her career this year. Inouye-Perez guided UCLA to a sweep of the Pac-12 championships after her squad did not receive a single first-place vote.

Six total UCLA student-athletes were named to the All-Pac-12 First Team which led the conference. Those players are Maya Brady, Megan Grant, Sharlize Palacios, Kaitlyn Terry, Taylor Tinsley and Jordan Woolery. Additionally, graduate transfer Jadelyn Allchin was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team, marking the first All-Pac-12 recognition of her career after spending the previous four seasons at Washington.
