Bears Land 9 MPSF All-Academic Selections

BERKELEY – The California women's water polo team placed nine student-athletes on the MPSF All-Academic Team, it was announced today.

Cutino Award finalist Isabel Williams earned her fourth career honor, while seniors Maddie DeMattia, Maryn Dempsey, Mallory Reynoso and Reagan Whitney each received it for the third time.

Junior Jessie Rose and redshirt sophomore Claire Rowell collected MPSF All-Academic status for the second straight year. Sophomore Abbi Magee and junior Rozanne Voorvelt both garnered their first career selection.

To be eligible for recognition on the MPSF All-Academic Team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore academically and play in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
