Six selected from Pac-12 in 2019 NBA Draft

Six former Pac-12 men’s basketball standouts were selected in the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday night, highlighted by a pair of first-round selections and multiple picks from 2018-19 regular-season Conference champion WASHINGTON.

Nowell Selected as the No. 43 Pick in the 2019 NBA Draft

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Sophomore Jaylen Nowell, the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year, became the second Husky to hear their name called at the 2019 NBA Draft as he was selected as the No. 43 pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round. Nowell joins teammate Matisse Thybulle, who was earlier chosen as the No. 20 pick by the Boston Celtics with a trade proposed to the Philadelphia 76ers.
