This viral performance marks UCLA’s fourth viral routine in just three seasons. Before Ohashi became an internet sensation, Sophina DeJesus took the world by storm with a routine that infused Hip Hop dances. Even Ellen DeGeneres took notice.

Ohashi’s score over the weekend lifted the Bruins to a team floor total of 49.700, the fifth-highest mark in school history.

Kyla Ross, Olympic gold medalist, proved her nickname "Kyla Boss" true. Video of her performance over the weekend has racked up 70K+ views and climbing. She was flawless on the uneven bars, scoring her fourth career perfect 10 on bars and sixth overall perfect score. She won the all-around with a career-high-tying 39.700, and also posted UCLA’s top mark on vault with a 9.875. Ross’ and Ohashi’s perfect 10s boosted No. 2 UCLA to a first-place finish at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge powered by Under Armour over three ranked teams. No. 9 California landed in second place with a 196.075, followed by No. 33 Michigan State at 194.900 and No. 14 UC Davis with a 194.125.
