Five Pac-12 women's basketball stars taken at the 2021 WNBA Draft
After dominating March Madness last month, five Pac-12 women’s basketball star were taken at the 2021 WNBA Draft on Thursday night.
Arizona's Aari McDonald selected third overall by the Atlanta Dream
Aari McDonald becomes the first ever Arizona women's player drafted in the first round. McDonald is the ninth Arizona player ever selected in WNBA Draft and first since 2013 (Davellyn White, 2nd round).

UCLA's Michaela Onyenwere selected sixth overall by the New York Liberty
Michaela Onyenwere is taken by the New York Liberty and becomes the first UCLA women's player drafted in the first round since Jordin Canada in 2018. It is the second straight year the Liberty have drafted a Pac-12 player with their 1st round pick. The Liberty took Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon) first overall last year.

Stanford's Kiana Williams selected in the second round, 18th overall, by the Seattle Storm
From one championship program to another, the WNBA defending champion Seattle Storm select Kiana Wililiams from the 2021 NCAA Champion Stanford Cardinal. The Storm took Williams in the second round with the 18th overall pick.

Arizona's Trinity Baptiste selected in the second round, 24th overall, by the Indiana Fever
After a stellar season for the NCAA runner-ups, Trinity Baptiste will be taking her talents to Indiana. This marks just the second time that Arizona has had two players taken in the same WNBA draft.

Oregon State's Aleah Goodman selected in the third round, 30th overall, by the Connecticut Sun
Aleah Goodman is heading to the Connecticut Sun following four excellent years in Corvallis. After not having a selection since 2002, Oregon State women's basketball has now had six players drafted in the past six drafts.
