Cougs Swing Back Into Action Sunday at the Bandon Dunes Championship
BANDON, Ore. – The Washington State men's golf team swings back into action Sunday, March 6, as the Cougars head to Bandon, Oregon for the 2022 Bandon Dunes Championship. The three-day tournament will take place at the Sheep Ranch Golf Club and runs through Tuesday, March 8.
The Course and Format
The 2022 Bandon Dunes Championship will take place March 6-8 at the Sheep Ranch Golf Club in Bandon, Oregon. Each day will consist of one 18-hole round. The Sheep Ranch Golf Club is a 6,748-yard course that plays as a par 71.
Tee-Times
Each round of the 2022 Bandon Dunes Championship will feature a shotgun start that begins at 8:30 a.m. PT.
WSU Lineup
Redshirt senior Max Sekulic will tee-off from the No. 1 slot for the Cougs in their first tournament of the spring. Junior Pono Yanagi and sophomore Jaden Cantafio will be in the No. 2 and 3 spots, respectively. Sophomore Preston Bebich will man the No. 4 position, while sophomore Nate Plaster will play from the No. 5 slot. Freshmen Peter Jung and Franklin Lydra will play as individuals at the 2022 Bandon Dunes Championship.
The Field
In addition to Washington State, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Cal Baptist, Kansas, Utah Valley, Hartford, Fresno State, Air Force, Seattle U., Army, SIU-Edwardsville, San Jose State, and Boston College make up the field at the 2022 Bandon Dunes Championship.

Last Time Out
The Washington State men's golf team posted a sixth-place finish in its first tournament of the spring, as the Cougars concluded the John Burns Intercollegiate carding 291 (+3) in the third round to finish the tournament with a three-round score of 2-under; 862.
Junior Pono Yanagi posted his second-straight under-par round in Saturday's final go-around at the Ocean Course at Hokuala. The Hilo, Hawaii native a team-best carded 2-under;70 in the third round to end the John Burns Intercollegiate in a tie for 20th with teammate Jaden Cantafio. Both WSU golfers posted a three-round score of 1-under par; 215 in their first tournament of the spring.
Yanagi and Cantafio were two of the three WSU golfers that finished the John Burns Intercollegiate under par. Redshirt senior Max Sekulic shot a team-best 3-under; 213 over 54 holes of play in Hawaii to finish in a tie for 14th.
