Taking a closer look at five freshmen who were making an impact prior to the nationwide cancellation of the NCAA's winter/spring seasons as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic. 

#15 Sun Devils Shutout Fourth-Straight Opponent in 5-0 Victory

TEMPE -- The Sun Devils used a shutout performance from senior Cielo Meza and two home runs to help earn the victory over the South Dakota Coyotes, 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Farrington Stadium. The win improves ASU's record to 22-7 on the season and 18-4 at home.

Softball Moves South Dakota Game to Noon Start Time

TEMPE -- In anticipation of inclement weather in the Phoenix Valley, the Arizona State Softball team (21-7) moved the start time against South Dakota to noon on Tuesday, March 10 at Farrington Stadium. The single-game matchup was originally scheduled to throw first pitch at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
