Getting To Know Breanna Bernard-Joseph

Freshman hurdler Breanna Bernard-Joseph is looking forward to her first season on the USC Track & Field team, and hopes to contribute immediately. In 2018, she completed a standout body of work at Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Eastvale, CA) with a personal record 41.76 seconds in 300m hurdles that earned her a California state championship and proved to be eighth best high school time in the event nationwide. Now the 18 year-old has her sights set on helping the Trojans to both a second consecutive Pac-12 Championship and National Championship. She will be competing primarily in 400m hurdles for Troy.

Getting To Know Isaiah Jewett

Junior transfer middle distance runner Isaiah Jewett is in his first season of eligibility at USC and is confident he can build upon a breakout 2017 sophomore campaign at UC Irvine and a strong year of development and training in 2018.

Getting To Know Karlee Freeman

Freeman is a 2018 graduate of Raymond High in Raymond, Wash.  She won the 2018 Class 2B state title in the discus, shot put and javelin and earned eight individual state titles in her high school career.  She is the Washington 2B state record-holder in the shot put and discus throw.  Her discus throw PR of 173-3 ranks second in Washington state high school history and ranked fifth among high school throwers in 2018.

Getting To Know Ayden Owens

Freshman Ayden Owens is in his first season of competing in the multi-events and hurdles for USC.  He is a four-time New Balance All-American and competed in the 2018 IAAF World Junior Championships, setting the meet's decathlon 110m hurdles record.

Getting To Know Lanae-Tava Thomas

Freshman Lanae-Tava Thomas (luh-NAY TAY-vuh) is in her first season as a jumper and sprinter on the USC track and field team.  She was an 11-time New York state champion in high school.
