This week's Throwback Thursday features a trailblazer in track & field history who helped female athletes gain recognition on a national scale. As a four-time national champion in the high jump, Joni Huntley would etch her name into the Oregon State history books for years to come.

Getting To Know Jan'Taijah Ford

Freshman sprinter Jan'Taijah Ford is from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. where she was a four-time state champion in the 400m.  Ford has a personal best of 51.57 in the 400m and was named a 2019 high school All-American and the Florida Girls T&F Gatorade Athlete of the Year.  We had a chance to catch up with her today.

Getting To Know Brian Herron

Brian Herron is a freshman sprinter for the Trojans. He's from Decatur Georgia where he attended Lakeside High School. Herron ran on the U20 4x400m relay at the 2017 Pan American U20 championships in Peru. That relay team set a new world record. Herron is majoring in computer engineering.
