Arizona softball hung on to take down Auburn, 2-1, on Saturday at Hillenbrand Stadium. After going through three innings in a scoreless tie, Tamara Statman hit a clutch two-run single to put the Wildcats on top in the fourth. Taylor McQuillin went the distance for Arizona, scattering six hits, walking two and striking out five to hold off the Tigers and help the Wildcats advance to the NCAA Regional Title round on Sunday.
