Oregon State men's basketball shocked No. 24 Arizona on Sunday night in Corvalis, using a monster second half to secure an 82-65 victory. The game was tied at 31 at halftime, but the Beavers surged ahead, at one point going on a 15-3 run, to outscore the Wildcats 51-34 in the second half. As he has done many times, Tres Tinkle paved the way for Oregon State, scoring 20 points and adding seven assists and six rebounds. Ethan Thompson also had a memorable night, scoring 18 points including his 1,000th as an Oregon State Beaver. Zeke Nnaji led the Wildcats with 21 points but it was not enough to get past the red-hot Beavers.
