UCLA men's basketball defeated UC Santa Barbara by a final of 77-61 in Los Angeles on Sunday. The Gauchos gave the Bruins a scare early, leading by two at halftime, but UCLA pulled away in the second half behind a big game from Jalen Hill. The sophomore paced the Bruins with a career-high 22 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Jules Bernard added 20 points and eight rebounds as the Bruins improved to 2-0 on the season.
