UCLA won the Los Angeles Regional in the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament with a 6-3 victory over LMU Monday night. Junior 2B Chase Strumpf, who was drafted by the Chicago Cubs on the same night, led the way with a three-run homer in the fourth inning to extend a lead that the Bruins would never relinquish. With the victory, UCLA moves on to the Super Regional round, where they will host Michigan starting on June 7th. It will be UCLA's first Super Regional appearance since 2013 when UCLA went on to win the College World Series.
