Kristine Anigwe becomes first Cal student-athlete to earn Pac-12 Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year honor

Cal's Kristine Anigwe is named Pac-12 Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 16.4 rebounds per game to become the conference record holder in that category. In the Bears' final regular season game, Anigwe grabbed a conference record 30th-consecutive double-double with 32 points and 30 rebounds. She also became the first women’s college basketball player to record a 30-30 game in 17 years. Anigwe is also second in the Pac-12 in blocks, averaging 1.69 per game.
