Recap: Stanford stays on top, Arizona State surges on Day 2 of Pac-12 Men’s Swimming Championships

Day 2 of the Men’s Pac-12 Swim Championships kicked off with Stanford’s Preston Forst taking the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:12.06. Arizona State freshman Léon Marchand went on to take first place in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:39.65, the fastest time in the country this year. The California Golden Bears wrapped up the night by taking first in the 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay. California’s Bjorn Seeliger finished first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 18:84 before going on to set a new Pac-12 record with his relay team in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:15.00, the third fastest time in the country.
