Utah women's gymnastics' Sydney Soloski is the Utes' 2021-22 female Tom Hansen Medal winner. Soloski earned a dual degree in finance and marketing at Utah. She was a three-time Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll recipient (2020, 2021, 2022), three-time WCGA Scholastic All-American (2018, 2019, 2021) and two-time recipient of Utah Gymnastics’ Greg and Megan Marsden Leadership Award (2021, 2022). As a gymnast, Soloski was a three-time team captain and helped Utah to three Pac-12 regular-season (2020, 2021, 2022) and two Championships (2021, 2022) titles. She was a five-time All-American on floor (three regular-season, two NCAA), 2021 Pac-12 co-champion on floor, and three-time All-Pac-12 performer on floor. She is part of the Yearly Trunk or Treat that Ute Academy puts on to support the community and volunteered with Girls on the Run, a non-profit organization in Utah at Backman Elementary in which she mentored elementary school kids, teaching and reading books to them.
