UCLA's Chloe Lashbrooke has earned the Pac-12 Gymnastics Coaches Choice of the Week award, presented by Pacific Premier Bank, for Jan. 24. Lashbrooke made her return to the competitive lineup after a long three years due to a shortened Covid season in 2020 and an achilles injury that kept her out of the 2021 season and most of last year. She performed full tumbling for the first time in a meet on Jan. 14 with an exhibition performance that earned a 9.875 and earned her a spot in the lineup at No. 25 Washington last weekend. Lashbrooke scored a 9.850 on the floor to finish sixth in the event, marking her seventh score of 9.825 or higher on the floor in as many career meets. Her performance contributed to No. 6 UCLA knocking off the Huskies on the road in the first dual meet of the season.
